I bought this for my son for 29.99 and it has beld up very well. There is a warning on the neck that warns you not to move the head as it is delicate and may break (so far nothing has happened). He sounds authenitic and moves his head and arms and his eyes glow. His body onlt moves if you push him (his belt wheels turn). It reminds me of those toys that respond to music. He does not stay on long if you do not interact with him which is good for the batteries. He is very cute!

Great Toy! But, He Needs Interaction Eve To Be Complete!,

Interactive Wall-E is a fun toy. It looks and behaves exactly like the robot in the movie. Be aware, however, that it only rolls if you push it. The treads are not motorized. Everything else is automated. The only sound effect that is missing is the boot up sound for the Apple Computer...I guess there were trademark issues.
Also, this toy offers the most fun when it is paired with Interaction Eve. Wall-E and Eve talk to each other and add to the overall entertainment, plus Interactive Eve makes shooting sounds and also has a flying sound effect. They really were meant to be purchased as a pair, and you don't want Wall-E to feel lonely!! Both cost me $29. I'd give this 5-stars except that I think my son would enjoy the toy more if it actually rolled on it's own. As noted by other reviewers, it's difficult to push the toy too. Otherwise, it's great!

My son loves Wall-E and really wanted this toy, but be warned -- it is an "action figure" not a robot, meaning that your child will have to move it around and make it do stuff. All it does on its own is wave its arms and make a few noises. Still, my son enjoys playing with it.
My main problems with it is that it is not constructed for real world play. Within a week of getting it, Wall-E's "head" had snapped off its stalk. The wires were servered, so his eyes no longer light up. I was able to duct tape the head back on, but now Wall-E does even less than before. I think the manufacturer could have easily reinforced the neck assembly with some metal brackets to make it sturdier. Anyone who has kids could have told them that this was a weak point. Given that these toys are expensive but not durable, if your child likes Wall-E you might be better off buying the cheapest version of the Wall-E action figures and skipping all the bells and whistles. Your kid's imagination can supply all the rest.
