4.0 out of 5 stars Very cute
I bought this for my son for 29.99 and it has beld up very well. There is a warning on the neck that warns you not to move the head as it is delicate and may break (so far nothing has happened). He sounds authenitic and moves his head and arms and his eyes glow. His body onlt moves if you push him (his belt wheels turn). It reminds me of those toys that respond to music...

2.0 out of 5 stars NOT a robot and NOT really built for kids and real play
My son loves Wall-E and really wanted this toy, but be warned -- it is an "action figure" not a robot, meaning that your child will have to move it around and make it do stuff. All it does on its own is wave its arms and make a few noises. Still, my son enjoys playing with it.

He does not stay on long if you do not interact with him which is good for the batteries. He is very cute!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Toy! But, He Needs Interaction Eve To Be Complete!, August 5, 2008

Interactive Wall-E is a fun toy. It looks and behaves exactly like the robot in the movie. Be aware, however, that it only rolls if you push it. The treads are not motorized. Everything else is automated. The only sound effect that is missing is the boot up sound for the Apple Computer...I guess there were trademark issues.

Also, this toy offers the most fun when it is paired with Interaction Eve. Wall-E and Eve talk to each other and add to the overall entertainment, plus Interactive Eve makes shooting sounds and also has a flying sound effect. They really were meant to be purchased as a pair, and you don't want Wall-E to feel lonely!! Both cost me $29.

I'd give this 5-stars except that I think my son would enjoy the toy more if it actually rolled on it's own. As noted by other reviewers, it's difficult to push the toy too. Otherwise, it's great!

My son loves Wall-E and really wanted this toy, but be warned -- it is an "action figure" not a robot, meaning that your child will have to move it around and make it do stuff. All it does on its own is wave its arms and make a few noises. Still, my son enjoys playing with it.
My main problems with it is that it is not constructed for real world play. Within a week of getting it, Wall-E's "head" had snapped off its stalk. The wires were servered, so his eyes no longer light up. I was able to duct tape the head back on, but now Wall-E does even less than before. I think the manufacturer could have easily reinforced the neck assembly with some metal brackets to make it sturdier. Anyone who has kids could have told them that this was a weak point.
Given that these toys are expensive but not durable, if your child likes Wall-E you might be better off buying the cheapest version of the Wall-E action figures and skipping all the bells and whistles. Your kid's imagination can supply all the rest.

5.0 out of 5 stars My 4 year old's favorite toy!, June 29, 2008
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: WALL-E Interactive WALL-E (Toy)
My little guy loves to play with him, the switch is easy to turn off and he likes to play with this Wall-E while off a lot, making him "talk" on his own and such. When we got it, we told him to be gentle to Wall-E's head per the warning on the back, but we have picked him up by his head and dropped him a few times and nothing happened yet, he's pretty sturdy. The front flap easily pops on and off if a certain child tries to stuff things "inside" and snaps it off, no harm done. It's a little loud, but so are most of his toys. Well worth the purchase as he adores it and plays with him constantly!

4.0 out of 5 stars Interaction Wall-E is exactly what I would expect for 30 bucks!, July 8, 2008

I picked up this at toys r us yesterday (July 7th) for $[...] its fun and has the actual movie voice of Wall-E. The tracks actually move and its fun to play with. It would be nice if it wasn't so loud but I can deal with that. I would recommended this for any adult or older child who liked the movie and wants to have a little Wall-E around. I could see how this would get broken very quickly if a small child played with it, the head and arms move (motorized) and they seem to like to stop them mid movement which would be hard on the little gears that move the arms and head.

The toy looks good but is too loud and extremely overpriced (currently selling for $83 on Amazom). The Amazon site first showed the price $39.99 and free shipping, but when I clicked it, the price instantly changed and, as I said, became much much higher than originally shown. I do not like such way of selling products. Grandma though decided to buy it for our son anyway (for $83...). It came very soon and looked nice but still was absolutely not adequately priced. It also seems too big and too loud. Kids will like it anyway, of course. What I want to say is that even if kids love, for example, soap bubbles, it doesn't mean that $10 is appropriate price for a plain bottle of the bubbles.

5.0 out of 5 stars love wall-e, July 10, 2008
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: WALL-E Interactive WALL-E (Toy)
I bought Wall-e yesterday from toys r us and my 3 1/2 year old loves it. I must admit, I love wall-e too. The enteraction is good (though it just seems to reposond to noise in general). The voice is authentic to the movie which is great. The one thing I was a bit disapointed with was that he did not roll on his own. Especially since he darted around in the movie so fast. Like other reviews, he is a little loud but not unbearable. Price wise I feel it is comparable with any other inteaction toy. [..]

4.0 out of 5 stars Cute but is more Fun with the Interactive Eve, January 22, 2009
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: WALL-E Interactive WALL-E (Toy)
First off I purchased my Wall.e for $33. I'm a huge fan of the movie and I get obsessed with things I like.(Even my ferret is named Wall.e) Anyway so I bought the Wall.e for my computer desk. After a few minutes of fiddling with the Wall.e I really was a little disappointed. I hoped it had more different phrases then the i-Dance Wall.e(which I also own). I really considered returning it but gave in and bought Eve to see if the pair changed my opinion. I'm glad I made the right choice, the two are adorable. Whenever I need a break from a forum discussion I put them on. Seeing the two of them interact is pretty cute and changes my mood I'm in. Who says 23 years olds can't buy toys?! I strongly suggest to purchase both Eve and Wall.e, you won't regret it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wall - E very cute, January 18, 2009
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: WALL-E Interactive WALL-E (Toy)
My kids love animated things. I could not find the u control Wall - E so I got them the interaction Wall-E and the interaction Eve. My son was in love with Eve. If you buy only one of these products you will not get the total enjoyment out of them. My kids love playing with these toys. They are very cute and They love showing them to their friends. If you kids are into pretend play and love barbie and action figures they will love these. If they are into the Wii and video games they will love the toy but it will sit on a shelf and will only be played with when friends come over. They are well made and do see as though they talk to each other. as an adult I love these toys. they are so cute.
I do not have anything negative to say about them. I think worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wall-E and Eve chatter boxes, January 17, 2009

If you have both Eve and Wall-e they will chat back and forth until you turn them off. If you have a young child who really loves the movie they will love this toy. My 3 year old has the Wall-e he got for Christmas. He hasn't broken it yet and plays with it for a little bit everyday with his sister who has the Eve. They laugh as they talk back and forth. They also play with the 2 seperate.
