Product Description

Thomas And Friends Wooden Railway - Giggling Troublesome Trucks

From the Manufacturer

The Troublesome Trucks are the rascals of Sir Topham Hatt's Railway who take great delight in causing trouble for whichever engine has to pull them. Noisy and silly, they talk a lot and do not attend to what they are doing. The Troublesome Trucks are actually mixed goods wagons, so they can be used at all areas on the island, but especially enjoy causing trouble at the coal mines and quarries.

Thomas becomes more animated than ever! We gave these to our son for his third birthday. They have become a much loved part of his wooden railway system. He loves to pretend they are making trouble and giggling all the while. We've only had them a few weeks, but they seem to be very durable and have already received enough play to be well worth the cost. We highly recommend this addition to any wooden railway set.

As everyone who watches the videos in the extensive Thomas & Friends collection, then you'll know that the Troublesome Trucks cause mischeif for any engine who pulls them.Read more ›

Good durability and nifty train set. Actually wobbles while moving. You have to get your own button style batteries though because it will arrive dead. We have a kids craft play table and train set that we were trying to add to but unfortunately these cars are too wide and tall for the overpasses and bridge sections.

My 3 year old son likes these as part of the collection of trains he has, especially that one giggles. I just don't like having to change the battery. :) He doesn't like to play with it without the giggle.

both trucks do wiggle; one from side to side and one from front to back- only one of the trucks is batterie powered and 'giggles'. But they are very cute and durable. A good buy overall!

If your child enjoys playing with the Thomas & Friends wooden trains, the Troublesome Trucks are the rascals of the railway, featured in nearly every episode of Thomas & Friends. (See previous review for a list of all the accidents the Troublesome Trucks have caused.) The Giggling Troublesome Trucks both have their own way of rickety rocking motion. The Troublesome Truck with the red tarp rocks up and down, while the Troublesome Truck with ballast rocks side to side. Also, when the red tarp is pushed, the trucks giggle.

Overall, 5 stars. The Giggling Troublesome Trucks are definitely a worthy addition to your child's Thomas Wooden Railway.

The Troublesome Trucks add that bit of conflict that makes life interesting on Sodor Island. Mischievous and schemers, they are always causing problems for the engines. The faces show that personality, and when you press the red tarp, the trouble-makers giggle like mad! Not overly loud, which is a plus in my book.
The other great thing about these cars is the rickety motion they have while rolling down the track. The wheel base is separate from the car (held together with a metal bar), which allows movement--rocking and shaking back and forth as it rolls. Just adds more depth to the character and is really a lot of fun.

I got these trucks for my two-year-old son so Thomas could have something to pull around the track; my son also enjoyed the giggling noise that the red-covered truck makes. The first set broke soon after we got it, but it must have been a fluke as we returned it for a new set and that set has been going strong ever since. The trucks are among my son's favorite Thomas pieces.
