This review is from: Thomas Arne: Six Favourite Concertos (The English Orpheus, Volume 7) - Paul Nicholson / The Parley of Instruments Baroque Orchestra (Audio CD)
Tese six keyboard concertos very well performed by Paul Nicholson on harpsichord, piano and organ are, unlike many baroque concertos are melodic even in the faster sections. And since they were comosed early in the stage of concerto history they vary in the number of movements. As typical of baroque music the concertos are written in the form of dances.
I was truly astounded at the beauty of Arne's music. It was so good that I plan to explore more of it.
