I grew up in San Luis Obispo County and lived in Ventura County all my adult life. And I can attest to the fact that The Thomas Guide mapbook is the best set of maps avaliable from anyone, anywhere. Every street in every town is there, clearly shown and indexed. It is easy to find any address or route. I know all these areas and I still use my Thomas Guide all the time. Every park, library, school, golf course, hospital, shopping mall, etc., etc, is listed. And the fact that it's in bound form means that you don't have to unfold and refold a more conventional map. Miles ahead of anything else available and well worth the money.
