This review is from: Thomas Cranmer And The English Reformation 1489-1556 (Hardcover)
Thomas Cranmer, mild mannered archbishop to bombastic Henry VIII, engineered the English Reformation, leaving us the legacy of the Church of England. In order to understand the reformation in England, one must know something of Thomas Cranmer. Too often he appears as a shadow against Henry's sun. Well worth reading.
