I bought this DVD 2 years ago, and my son really enjoys it. We didn't have any holiday episodes on his other videos, so this was all new to him.

The storyteller is George Carlin and features these stories:

*Snow
*Thomas' Christmas Party
*Thomas and the Missing Christmas Tree
*Terence the Tractor
*Thomas and Percy's Christmas Adventure
*Special Funnel

The bonus features are:

*Thomas and the Missing Christmas Tree Read Along Story (I often put this on repeat since the story is so short. My son really enjoys it.)
*Connect-the-dots Christmas gaem
*Bios of the characters
*The Snow Song sing-along
*Links to a website
*Bonus CD sampler (very short)

The run-time is about 42 minutes for everything.

My son doesn't play the games, but he enjoys the read-along-story and episodes.

This is a good holiday DVD for fans of Thomas and friends, in my opinion, but if you own the other holiday stories (except for "Snow"), you may not find much new in this DVD.

This is another great children's film in the Thomas series. The title is a little misleading because the stories don't have a lot to do with Christmas, although there are allusions to the holidays throughout. It has more to do with winter, and more specifically snow.

The little engines have to deal with snowdrifts and avalanches, and in typical fashion, they are frequently buried by snow and crash into it with frowns and rolling eyes. The sets are beautifully decorated for winter and the snow looks very realistic. The narration by Alec Baldwin and George Carlin (now that's an interesting pair) is first rate.

This is a wonderful addition to your child's Thomas collection. If he/she doesn't have a Thomas collection, it is a good place to start.

If you have a child who is easily frightened by anything even remotely scary, this a good choice. The video is composed of about 5-6 short stories, none of which rises to the level of scary (which is not the case with many of the other Thomas videos).

The theme here is snow, snow, snow. There are brief allusions to Christmas, but probably don't total more than 2 minutes of the 34 minutes of running time.

For my kids, this is the most popular Thomas video. I can't begin to estimate how many times they have watched it. They particularly like singing to the "music video" that concludes the tape.

We have five Thomas videos, this is by far my 3 and 4 year-olds' favorite.

Snow is the only new episode one this video. It talked about a time where Skarloey got stuck in a snowstorm. The other two Christmas episodes are good but they sre on Thomas's Christmas Party. Also one of the episodes is really Thomas and Percy's Mountain Aventure not Christmas adventure considering it's about Thankgiving. Special Funnel is only on this one because there's snow on the ground in it. Terence the Tractor was in the first tape and it also was on just because snow was on the ground in it. I was very disappointed with this tape and if I were you I would just buy Thomas's Snowy Suprise.

This, I believe, was the second holiday Thomas release. At the time it was a great video but now, you don't need it. It only had 1 new story, Snow, where Rusty tells Thomas the story of Skarloey and the worst winter of all. It also has a new music video entitled "The Snow Song" which was good and now, that is pretty much the only reason to purchase this video. So this video wasn't all that exciting when it came out since it only has one new story. I've said this once and I'm gonna say it again, if you want a good holiday video, buy Thomas' Snowy Surprise.

Thomas & his friends Have loads of adventures. Now, their favourite Christmas advenures Have been put on 1 tape! The stories include Snow, Terence The Tractor, Special funnel, Thomas & Percy's Christmas adventure, Thomas & The missing Christmas Tree & Thomas' Christmas party. There are also some really exciting special features Like The "Connect the dots" game.

This is the one I remember was Winter Wonderland - but I soon don't know _if_ I found out. Well, Percy got stuck in the snow and he was soon covered in "Snow". When Thomas banged his snow-plough he was soon put in the shed at night in "Terence The Tractor". I don't know when the episode day is November or December of where Harold busily drops food and the sheds are re-decorated in "Thomas & Percy's Christmas Adventure" or "Thomas & Percy's Mountain Adventure". Find out what happens when Peter Sam had broken his old funnel and his driver replaces a new funnel for him in "Special Funnel."

The kid that wrote "I Love This Video" is right. Just ignore what Mr. Bey says. "Snow","Thomas' Christmas Party" and "Thomas & The Missing Christmas Tree" are boring on "Thomas' Snowy Surprise" because they aren't new. They are better on this video. They ran out of new episodes and couldn't put "Gordon & The Gremlin" on because it doesn't feature snow. This is no waste of money at all.

What was the point to this release? It's basically Thomas' Christmas Party with a new episode and a music video. They should've waited until Thomas' Snowy Surprise to release the episode Snow. I'm not really complaining though. I liked this release very much besides the fact it only one new episode. A disappointing release, but enjoyable on the whole.

i give this video 4 stars only because of alec baldwin's vocalizations for james (i wrote about this in my thomas the tank engine "make someone happy" review)--it is distracting in this video, versus inappropriate in the other. the snow song is wonderful; really this is a delightful christmas or holiday time video. my son absolutely loves it.
