Great for my 4 year old
My 4 year old is always asking me to read these books and the large print and pictures are helping him to follow with me. I've even caught him looking thru the books on his own.

Save your money
We probably have around 25 Thomas & Friends books, if not more. The writing in this particular book was ridiculous, at any age. It didn't flow right nor make ANY sense. It doesn't help me ground my children w/ appropriate grammar given that it speaks in a way that teaches poor language skills. And its' lack of just basic logic makes it confusing (ie - the train gets...

We probably have around 25 Thomas & Friends books, if not more. The writing in this particular book was ridiculous, at any age. It didn't flow right nor make ANY sense. It doesn't help me ground my children w/ appropriate grammar given that it speaks in a way that teaches poor language skills. And its' lack of just basic logic makes it confusing (ie - the train gets pushed by "dopey" trucks and yet somehow is later positioned as saving the barber shop?) I'd advocate that you save your money and learn from my mistake.
