Ever since they introduced the music videos to the Thomas videos, I've loved Thomas even more. They just add some musical fun and excitement to the videos and they're so catchy, you will sing them all the time, I know I sometimes find myself singing them. I'm sure little kids will want to watch this over and over and over again. Here are the music videos:

Peter Sam & The Refreshment Lady 5/5:
Peter Sam arrives at the station a bit late and Henry tells him that if he is late again, he will just leave the station without the passengers. The next day, Peter Sam is must take the Refreshment Lady along with some passengers. Determined not to be late, Peter Sam starts quickly, but ends up leaving the Refreshment Lady behind.

Bulldog 5/5:
One day, Duke and Falcon had to take some passengers through the old railway. Falcon didn't listen to Duke's advice about looking at the tracks and ends up coming off of the tracks and Duke must try his hardest to pull him back on track.

Overall, great Thomas video. Great for musical fans like me and for fans of the little engines. I hope my review has helped you.

Even though I got this video in summer 1997 (I was 6 years old then) I still watch it occasionally and like it, too. Its song's words are displayed at the bottom of the T.V. screen and a bouncing cloud goes over the words. Speaking of songs, the songs in order are Thomas' Anthem, Let's Have a Race, Gone Fishing, Toby, Don't Judge a Book by Its Cover, Island Song and Really Useful Engine. Some of those songs are in other Thomas videos, too. This video also has 2 stories, Peter Sam and the Refreshment Lady, and Bulldog.

My 3 year old son is a Thomas fanatic.the table .the trains.the shirts..the chair..and even his skivvies!!!.This SIngalong Tape has a wide variety of tempos and styles. My son sings non stop during the day and it is nice to hear him singing songs that are not so common....but nontheless pleasant

Thomas sing along stories is a great starting off video for any Thomas the Train newcomer! My 3 year old nephew watches it over and over again!

i was the reviewer from a couple below who didn't like the "inane lyrics..." i was so wrong! WHY?, because my son loves it, sure he took a tiny while to warm up to it, and i should have mentioned this long ago, but now he absolutely loves this video! have now bought the wooden trains and more videos and books, but this first video -- with all the singing -- he loves the most. sorry i was so negative, hey, if the little guy loves it, so do i -- long live thomas! buy it and see! aloha!

If you and your child love Thomas the Tank Engine and all his friends, and you've seen the many videos, the songs on this collection will remind you of why kids love the popular train stories. All songs will be familiar to you, and you'll be surprised when you realize how much more you like the song(s) after you know what the words are! My 3 year old son is mesmerized whenever he watches this video. Most of the seven songs relate to Thomas but a few have some 'words of wisdom' that I think are useful and appropriate for kids and adults of all ages. "Gone Fishing" reminds you to take a break and relax after working hard and "Don't Judge a Book By Its Cover" says it all. My only wish is that a 2nd version or "volume 2" is released soon as this compilation was done in 1995.

My son has several Thomas videos and the whole choo-choo table set up. We bought this video to give to him as an early Christmas present to give him something "little" each of the three days before Christmas.

He loves this video and the songs for the all the "off" characters... there is one song on one of his other video's and he was always asking for so and so's song and we told him there wasn't one... this video made him so happy because there are songs for several different characters!

This was Thomas's first musical tape and it was certainly better than the next musical one. The two episodes are Peter Sam and the Refreshment Lady and Bulldog. Peter Sam and the Refreshment Lady is about how Peter Sam rushes to make sure he gets to Henry in time but he leaves the refreshment lady behind. In Bulldog Duke saves Falcon and he shows no matter how old you are you can still be useful. The stories on this tape focus on the little engines which is great because I don't think they have enough stories. Little kids love to dance to the songs and it's a greatidea for Christmas and Birthday presents.

We have MANY MANY Thomas the Tank videos, this one is unique because it has songs and stories...the songs are great, my son loves this video!!!

My three year old son chose this video as a rental. He cried and threw a fit when we returned it. He asked for it everytime we passed the video store. We've now rented it three times and I have been amazed at how much he and my six year old daughter love it! It has the text along the bottom of the songs and the bouncing ball that tracks the words-a great introduction to reading for the little one and great practice for the older.
