I bought this for my 2.5 year old son as a way to get him more excited about going to school. He loves Thomas right now and when it came in the mail he was beyond stoked. I like all the little compartments for everything. The top pocket in the front fits his kleenex and hand sanitizer, the bottom one is his diapers and we have room in the big pocket for a few other essentials. (sleep blanket and elmo, extra clothes, a few toy and wipes). If we were taking a big trip I might leave this at home simply due to available storage in such a small bag, but I would probably let him take it along as his "fun bag" with snacks and toys. The side pockets also fit the cute little water cup that comes with it as well as regular sippy cups. He likes rolling it into school like a big boy and I've also showed him how to wear it like a backpack. LOVE it!

This is a good quality backpack in that it's made of canvas and not cheap plastic, like other Thomas the Train backpacks. However, the wheels are of cheap quality, so I don't think it'll last long if you roll it outside a lot. This is not a problem for me since my son rolls this around the house more than he does outside. The water bottle is cheap and useless. The cap doesn't even stay on, so you wind up cleaning up spills. I would just throw it away and use another water bottle. Also, I wish the handle would lock in place once you pull it out. Overall, it's a good purchase. It's just the perfect size for my toddler. I would buy this product again over the other Thomas back packs.

Hi, I bought this backpack for two reasons: 1- I was looking to get more space to put inside all the things my kids need for the school, and 2- because they love thomas the train. The backpack has more space than the previous one we got last year ( another character) to put folders, the food, 1 sheet and 1 mat, and very easy to use for my kids. Also, the external pockets are very usefull and convenients. We are so happy with this purchase.

I bought this bag for my nephew as a christmas gift because he was going to start school. He loves the bag. This bag goes everywhere he goes. He was so excited to go to school with this new Thomas bookbag. I love how it has three pockets which varies in size, and it rolls! It even comes with a little bottle; good to put water in.

my 1st time ordering from amazon and really sattisfied! The product was much smaller than i thought and the handle is broken, it doesn't stay up! I realiize some products are used, but i thought i was buying a "new" product for my grandson!

I was soooo happy to see the look on my little nephew's face, when he opened the box with this backpack in it! He had a lot of 'Thomas and Friends' stuff, but nothing to put them in....until now! I heard that he piled all of his train stuff into that little backpack and took them to church on Christmas Eve! Thank you, Amazon.com, for helping make this a very special Holiday for a 4 year old little boy! ;)

Got this for my 2 1/2 yr old who is now 3 1/2 and he Loves this. The wheels work great for when we are traveling and he can't lift his bag himself but wants to participate in the traveling experience. The size of the bag is great for a small boy who is learning and growing.

smaller than i thought so i couldn't use it for his school bag but great day bag for outings holds just enough..cute sturdy design

My son loves this backpack. It is very well made and roomy. He likes to roll it in to preschool with him.

I just bought this backpack for my 2 year old for preschool and church. It is perfect for him to pull and he enjoys pulling it. I like the picture quality on the front.I also like the two extra zipper pockets on the front. The top pocket is perfect to fit snacks in. I think it has plenty of room for his needs.
