I Love it...
More importantly my son LOVES it.. Butch has come to be a "hero" to my son in his train set... After all Butch can help tow thomas if he falls off the train track... What more can I say? He is durable and works great. The tow truck is neat.. it has both a positive and a negative on the "hitch" and it can attach to the "portable" train that you can buy at target (Even...

Only Thomas toy we own that BROKE
The magnet that is suppose to pull the other trains around came out and was unrepairable soon after we purchased it. The magnet is a choking hazard, too. This tow truck does not fit well under the bridges either.

He is durable and works great. The tow truck is neat.. it has both a positive and a negative on the "hitch" and it can attach to the "portable" train that you can buy at target (Even though Butch is bigger and cannot go on their tracks, he still can "Tow" them)as well as to the wooden ones, and it is compatable with the Imaginarium set as well.

Skyler loves Butch. Whenever a train derails we get Butch to "save" him. Very cute piece. Pulls trains and cars with his magnetic tow.

If your child likes playing with Thomas & Friends trains, Butch the tow truck can be used for towing trains and cars back in place whenever they derail. Then the engines can get back to work.
I don't know why people are writing bad reviews about Butch's crane arm breaking off. I've had my Butch for 3 years straight and his crane arm has not broken off yet. Because of Butch's durability, I would recommend using him as a good tow truck for your collection.

About 10 minutes ago, my 18 month old was playing with his brother's Butch the Tow Truck and I saw the plastic piece that holds the towing magnet fly onto the floor. I grabbed it before he could put it in his mouth, but a minute later, I noticed the magnet itself had fallen out too! Very dangerous! I think this should be recalled, as it is a choking hazard.
I am very disappointed, as this is a new toy. We have just about every other imaginable Thomas character, and none have ever broken before. I am trying to contact Learning Curve to see if we can be compensated somehow. |
