This carry bag, although functional, could definitely stand some improvements. My 2-year old adores his wooden trains and requires us to bring them along wherever we go. My biggest beef with the product is the lack of dividers or any type of organization. Inside, there are a few pockets suitable for holding a few engines/cars, but otherwise the bag is just a flimsy, rectangular piece of plastic. It's great for just throwing some wooden track into and getting on your way, but it would be better if there were separate compartments for curved & straight track and maybe an accessory or two. I gave it three stars across the board, but we have not had it for very long so I cannot vouch for the product's durability.
BOTTOM LINE: If you've got to have a Thomas bag for your trains & track that travel, this is about your only option. But I'd recommend you save your [money] and throw them in a small duffel.

My son received this bag for Christmas 2001, it is very poor quality. It is not durable, the straps tore loose from the bag with in just a few months. If your child is anything like mine, Thomas goes everywhere he goes. This bag cannot handle the wear and tear. If your looking for something to carry your train set in you need to look further.

My son got this case for his 2nd birthday along with the Figure 8 trian set.He loves it and is so funny trying to carry it around the house.I think it is a great way to carry and store the trian set.I dont know what we would do w/o it.I dont know just how durable it will be because it is still new.I do know that we liked it so much that we recommended it for a gift to another 2 year old and he loves it as well.Basically it has been a big hit all around!!!

Great carrier for a few pieces to grab-and-go! Zipper issues and started to show wear after a couple of months. Serves a purposes....just don't let it be too much.

I got this for my son when he was about 3 or 4. His now 8, and it's still holding his trains and tracks. The handle and shoulder strap has broke, but it still holds every fine.. Every bit worth the 20 dollars..

I purchased this product to store my children's Thomas the train toys in and it has plenty of room to store all the tracks and the trains they have right now. The one thing that I didn't appreciate was how slow it took for the shipping. It was supposed to arrive in 5-7 business days and it took more like 10-12 business day. I could have just gotten the free shipping and waited that long. That is the one thing I was not happy about but the product itself is very durable.

This carry bag is wonderful. My grandson loves it. He brings it when he
comes to spend the night with his trains in it and his pj's. Its perfect.
