A great destination, with lots of fun scenario play. Its really hard, though, to build into a train-table setup, as the two pass-through tracks are separated by a peculiar distance. Would be great if it was an X instead of two parallel tracks.

Not sure why the previous reviewer gave this only 3 stars after praising it so highly. That aside, the Deluxe Over-the-Track Signal is worth much praise! My two-year-old absolutely adored it the first time he played with it...after months of play it still gets daily use at our house! Highly recommended.

We got this for our son for Christmas a year ago. He loved it. He babied it. He was very nice to it. Mysteriously, a year later, even with a new battery, it has stopped working. It no longer makes noise of any kind and the signal lights work unpredictably. There appears to be no way to fix it. These Thomas toys are expensive and they should last longer than one year of light use.

My son has had this item for over a year now and it's still in great shape. I, like the other reviewer, was a little put off by the plastic but even with my son's rough play it's still doing fine. This one is espeically great for the more advanced builders since you need two parallel tracks to run through the signal:)

The signal track is a good addition to your child's Thomas collection. It has levers to push, signs that move, and different sounds for stop and go. My son and his playmates have a hard time sharing this one!

This was a great addition to my son's train set - its sturdy and durable and my boys have fun making the trains 'stop' and 'go' by pushing the levers.

Our son was very pleased with this toy it was a wonderful addition to his other Thomas track and buildings. I was very pleased with the condition that the toy arrived in and it was recieved very quickly and in time for Christmas.

My son LOVES the Thomas & Friends wooden railway system, and this piece is no exception. As a parent, I have to say that the quality of this piece is not what I expected. In general, the wooden railway set pieces are primarily wood. The Deluxe Over-the-track Signal has wooden rails on it, but is otherwise mostly plastic, which is a disappointment.

My Son has enjoyed this toy very much, He's 6 and still loves all the Thomas the Train toys. I will be sure to buy more from here.

Grandson is totally into wooden trains, this was a fantastic HIT for Christmas, in fact I bought two! One for my house and one for his.
