5.0 out of 5 stars pretty good
Hank is much more of a purple color...the picture is misleading. He has no magnet in the front, instead there is a red cowcatcher. Other than that, he is a really great toy, just like all the other engines in this series.

1.0 out of 5 stars No magnet on front!! :(
I should have seen from the picture, but Hank does not have a magnet on the front. This means that when your child tries to put him between trains, he won't stick. So Hank, the arrogant American engine, has to always be in front. Bummer.

Hank was a great addition to my sons already large thomas and friends collection. The one drawback is that Hank has a red cowcatch in the front instead of a magnet which means other trains can only pull other trains/cargo cars... not be pulled. Other than that, Hank is great!

Great product - - - solid well crafted track, buildings, landscapes, trains, and table set. Everything has the look and feel of quality -hand crafted workmanship. The track pieces are precise and fit tight. Although the elevated track does come apart frequently at the hands of rigorous 3-4 year old boys - - - am considering using a wood glue to permantantly fix those pieces/portions that come apart often. My sons spend hours on this toy as their imagination takes them away - - - This is a toy that if well maintained will last the ages and can be passed down generation to generation - - - I can easliy see my grandchilden playing with this 20 years from now...

Typical Learning Center product of high quality, durability and good value. We only buy the Learning Center trains as they are at a very nice scale size for young hands, as opposed to other manufacturing brands. I find that Amazon carries the most at the best prices.

Our grandson loves playing with Thomas the Train. He is only just two years old but plays for hours with them. The only down side to Hank is that it does not have a magnet on the front of the engine like all of his other engines do so he can not "hook up" as he does with the other engines.
