Received my tree today, it does not look like the picture, misshapen, parts falling off, I am not satisifed at all. Thomas Kinkade sold his name, craftsmanship shoddy. I plan to return and get my money back.

I bought this item in June because I like Thomas Kinkade's stuff so much. Don't let the picture fool you, it is horrible. After trying for 1 week to get this item to just stay up, I have given up and thrown it in the attic. My other pull up tree is three years old and still looks perfect. PLEASE: do not waste your money and learn an expensive lesson like I did. Guess this is why Thomas Kinkade is having money troubles, his product isn't what is used to be.
Really wish I could get a portion of my money back..

Ours went up quite easily and i can see it will be a breeze to pack away in a small spot. I ordered the packing case after the tree arrived although one could use the box it arrived in. It was a bit more bulky so i wanted smaller for ,say under a bed . It would be a great addition to a real tree somewhere else in your home. It is a true 6 ft tall with bow but a bit narrow which for me is fine. i always pick really plump trees and they do take a lot of space and ornaments.

I purchased my tree directly from Bradford Exchange after I got it in my head that what I really needed was a pull-up Christmas tree. I'm usually short on time and energy, and simply don't enjoy the work and effort behind putting up and decorating a tree enough to do it just for me. I confess to not even putting up a tree some years. Last year I spent $60 and bought a living tree, which was more like a bush, and it died.

This, I thought, was a brilliant idea. And I like it!

First, the likes:
Seriously, Bradford Exchange offers a 365-day return policy. This is the number 1 reason I bought the tree. Plenty of time to use and assess.

It was really super quick and easy to put up, although I had to stand on a dining room chair to clip on and fix the top and fluff the bow. I didn't need any help at all. You simply snap the "legs" into the stand, then stick in the first piece of the center pole. Then slip the collapsed tree over the center pole. Stick the other two pieces of the pole in, pull the tree up and snap the top clip in place. Admittedly, it took me two tries to get the tree up because the first time, I had allowed part of the tree to snag on the pole, which made it hang crookedly.

I think the decoration is attractive. The bow is red velvet or velvet-type fabric, with ribbons running down the tree. There is also a couple of transparent gold ribbons running down the tree, and of course, the blue-ish Kinkaid imprinted ribbon. There are enough lights to suit me. They are all white. There are red velvet poinsettas and several ball ornaments in red, gold, and red&gold. I haven't tried it yet, but I see no reason why I can't add a few of my own ornaments to the tree.

I've found that after receiving this tree, it's nothing like the picture, where the tree is full with decorations. After putting this tree up, there were spots that could use more decorations/fillers in it. I am going to sew some additional decorations on the tree myself. To little decorations for the money charged for this tree. Watch out Mr. Thomas Kinkade! Your pictures and paintings are beautiful, but christmas trees? Not good business, especially in these economic times. This pull up tree needs to go back to the drawing board to have more decorations added to it! Give us our monies worth!

I purchased my tree directly through Bradford Exchange. For $200, it definitely is NOT worth it. I'm shocked that others didn't mention that you can see right through the tree. You can actually see the pole in the middle. It's not full, as pictured. I'm so disappointed. Returning it.

When my "fingerhut" shopping mom gave me a tree in a flat box I waited until Christmas Eve to open it. I was really surprised to find how nice it was. Decorated and pre-lit. Took less then five minutes to put up.

This product is like Christmas in a box. I loved how easily it set up. It is the last tree I will need to by. I just pulled it out of the box and now I am set up for the holidays. I have had several friends ask where I got it. I just had to fluff the bow and I was ready for the holidays. I am excited to know that all I have to do is fold it up after Christmas and I'll have my decorations put away for the year as well. The ribbons and ornaments are really pretty and as I said I have already gotten several compliments on it. I think I may call and order the bag for storage.

Wish I had bought this tree last year. Would have eliminated a lot of hassles and brighten my family room.
