I had no issues installing this unit. The plastic coating used to protect the metal finish was perfect and peeled off fine to reveal a nice unit. It's a basic polygon folks! Nothing fancy about this unit and it works fine after an easy install. If you want a basic rectangular lightbar that has 6 sockets than this is for you.
