Thomas Merton: Master of Attention is yet another gem from the pen of Robert G. Waldron.
Waldron paints a vivid picture of Merton and explores aspects of the man and his spirituality not commonly considered. Following a lifetime of study, prayer and meditation, Merton came to know the power of attending, an act so simple yet so very profound. In so doing, he learned to transcend the mundane by being fully and prayerfully present to all that is. One would do well to attend to this book!
