These are the best bowls ever! Seriously! They're so incredibly elegant--simply white with concentric white rings on the inside. Very shallow and perfect for everything from soup to pasta to curry to salad. I hardly even use my plates anymore--I just love these bowls so much that they seem to be perfect for every meal! The bowls are also very easy to care for, which is an added bonus (and important since I use them constantly!). The porcelain is very durable--never chips or cracks even with heavy use. And they go in the dishwasher too! If you buy these bowls and love them, you'll also love the full dinnerware set--a modern classic for every home!

As with most things that win design "awards" practicality is often sacrificed. So be aware these bowls are indeed, very large and very shallow. If that's what you want, great. But be prepared to act cautiously around this bowl if you don't want to spill soup though everything else works just fine. Yes, they are simple, hansom, with an extremely subtle concentric circle pattern. Put the food in quickly or you'll hypnotize yourself. Solid quality porcelain.
