These are great looking but the holes are small & there is only 1 hole so the salt disperses in a strange pattern. You really have to shake vigorously & move the shaker around to get even coverage on your food.

The inside has to be completely dry or salt will clump together at the opening preventing anything to come out. It will dispense salt but not excessively. It is made in Germany, good quality porcelain.

All you have to do is look at the image to realize you'll get no salt out of this. The two holes will clog and nothing will come out. I bought this since it was cheap and was later forced to buy a working salt shaker.
