Get the Complete Works instead!, August 31, 2010

All of Thomas Tallis: Instrumental Music and Songs is included on discs 9 and 10 of the Brilliant Classics 10-CD Complete Works. These recordings are licensed from Signum, which distributes the Instrumental Music disc. I have not heard the Signum disc, but the Complete Works is wonderful. It would be a shame to miss the Complete Works' wonderful vocals for a few dollars more. I only give the two-star rating for the relative value compared to the Complete Works.
