Adorable but not much fun,

We bought this for our son who is in love with Thomas. He loved the face and that he could sit in Thomas but there wasn't a lot of knee room for children. Our son got this when he was 3. The metal is sturdy and heavy and but the steering wheel comes loose easy and for driving out in the road is very stiff with no "give". Also the smell was horrible, truly a made in China paint smell or something, it reminded me of moth balls and had to be aired out. After having it for a while it was such a sad waste and my son even asked to sell it for something more fun! Parents who fall in love with this because they just *know* their Thomas fan would beside himself beware!
