Thomas the Train: Preschool Talking Toby

This is a fun addition to my kids' Thomas collection. It is bigger than the other train they have and does not fit on all of the tracks, but they don't seem to mind and they love having a Toby to play with!

This toy is sturdy and durable. It moves and talks in Toby's voice. It is great for little boys who love Thomas the Tank Engine stories. It would get boring for slightly older boys though.

I ordered this toy for my 2.5 year old, but didn't realize its size until it arrived. It's a good size for a young toddler to push around and it makes cute Toby sounds. My son, tho, wasn't really interested in it even though he loves Thomas and Toby is his favorite engine. He has moved on to wooden and metal trains with tracks at his age.

I got this for my 23 month old son for Christmas and we let him open it on Christmas eve. He absolutely loves it! We have a take along die cast toby that has been his favorite so we got him this and it was a big hit. It's alot bigger than I expected - even bigger than the fisher price little people Toby. Not only does it talk when you press the button on top but when he rolls it along a surface it makes noises like it's on a track and also talks then too. He loved this so much we had a hard time getting him to open the rest of his gifts on Christmas morning :)

Gave it to my grandson for Christmas and Toby and the other trains go to bed with him. They sit in a row on his dresser next to his bed, watching him. In the morning he picks one while Mommy get him dressed and then takes them off for breakfast..He's 2 and has a lot of Thomas Toys, but for now the larger talking ones are used the most. He has long conversations with them. His vocabulary is getting bigger. Thanks Thomas and Friends.

My son loves trains and he was happy when I gave it to him. Then he pressed a button, no sound! Item included three batteries, both of them dead on arrival. I have to pay for the batteries now, very disappointing, poor job from Amazon.

This train is a lot of fun for my two year old, when it's working properly. The little button the top is easy for him to find and push, but the sounds do not always work. It's an okay toy if you are not expecting too much from it.
