My son love Thomas and friends so I decide to buy him his first underwear to get him to stop wearing pull-up, he was so excited to wear his big boy thomas underwear that he started going to the bathroom often so not to wet thomas because I told him that Thomas would be upset if you get him dirty. It worked for him, but I'm more happy to get him out of diapers

Cute undies...my son loves Thomas! BUT they are too tight around his waist. My son is on the slimmer side so these must be unwearable for most who purchase.
Also the quality is not so great...the elastic on one pair was coming apart. This was straight out of the bag, I didn't even wash them yet.

Appear to be good quality, and the colors and designs are fun. Overall better designs than the 3T pack we received as a gift. They have been helpful in motivating toilet training. They definitely run small, though. My son is just starting to wear size 3T in pants and these briefs in size 4T fit just right. Hopefully my son won't outgrow them before we're done toilet training!

My son just turned two and is in LOVE with Thomas. He's currently wearing pampers baby dry size 5 and the 2T/3T briefs fit him perfectly (he's 28 lbs, 33 inches tall). I can see these easily being too small on some other two year olds though. My son is pretty small except for his big 'ol toddler belly. These fit him nicely though and the images and colors are great. We washed and dried them before wearing as well. His new briefs have really helped start the potty training process. Even if he's not in the mood to go to the bathroom on the potty he still wants to wear these OVER his diaper or pull up! He knows he shouldn't pee on Thomas, so if he doesn't want to to the bathroom on the potty he'll ask for a diaper!

My son loves these underwear and thankfully he'll soon grow out of them because they are such poor quality, I don't know how many more washes they'll withstand. The elastic waist is coming apart on almost every pair, and after so many washes, the cotton is still pretty stiff. I also agree with most reviewers here that I had to buy a size up for my son, and they are still a little tight on him... And he's a skinny boy! I have Petit Bateau underwear I've owned since the late 90s that have yet to show any wear. I guess you get what you pay for. Overall, if it weren't for the Thomas print, there's no way I would recommend these.

If you have a Thomas-obsessed fella, like I do, you don't really need to bother reading reviews.

You know: If it has Thomas on it, its chances of being accepted approve astronomically.

They're cute, they hold up fine in the wash, the price was decent... but none of those are the reason you'll buy these.

You buy them because he will LOVE them. And mine does, and he's using the potty now and enthusiastically putting on his own underpants.

Mission accomplished.

Agree with other reviewers that these run small. My son wears 3T pants, which are usually a bit baggy in the waist. I ordered these in 4/5T and they fit great. In fact, I've found buying underwear that's a tad big really helps my potty-training son be able to pull these up on his own. The cotton is not as soft as other brands (e.g. Carter's) and right out the package they felt rough and flimsy. But they're better after a wash and he seems to like them just fine.

I bought these for my 3 yr old son who can wear 4t clothes. I order these in size 4t. They fit him great! Not tight around his waist at all. He loves them. The material looks like its good and durable but we'll just to see how well it handles its first few washings. My son says they are very comfortable.

UPDATE April 19: I lowered the rating on these to two stars. The inside flap is not as wide as the underwear from this brand used to be, and that causes some issues for my son. First, the rib-knit trim rubs on him uncomfortably. Second, there is less overlap of front and back flaps, so he is constantly trying to cover his "pepper," as it seems to pop out between the flaps. Annoying? Hell yes. It makes Mayhem miserable. I'm having to run a couple of stitches to secure the flaps to each other on all fourteen new pairs of Thomas underwear he owns. That doesn't solve the chafing issue, though, and Mayhem is already attached to these undies because of Thomas. I'm really perturbed and I do NOT recommend this item. I will attempt to post pics so you can see the difference between an old pair and a new pair from this maker.

OLD REVIEW: As the Thomas briefs we bought for Mayhem in the store, these wear well and don't seem to bag and sag, or chafe and bind our little monster. He's a Thomas FREAK, so "big boy pants" with Thomas printed on them make convincing him to get dressed a little easier. These were certainly more affordable, too, than the $20 plus tax at the department store. Mayhem has sensitive skin (yeah, the tyrant has his soft side), so I washed the briefs twice before letting him wear them, because these are printed and come saturated in sizing, just like other character underwear. NBD. They washed up well and he loves them so much, I have had to stop him showing his Thomas-emblazoned behind to people. It's a story I am sure to remember and bring up at a strategic future moment...

I bought these for my 2-year old son who is almost potty trained. They seem comfortable and good quality. Of course, he loves the "choo choo train" designs. I've had similar ones that I've been using for a while and they have lasted very well. The design stitch design is good for boys. Although my son is 2 and on the small side, they fit snugly but not too tight and it looks like there'll be room for him to grown as well. I recommend them.
