A Good Value and Fun for the Whole Family,

This review is from: Thomas Wooden Railway 60th Anniversary Set (Toy)
Last year I told myself that I would never, ever buy my children a Thomas the Train set. They can be expensive! And, our town library has one that must cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars--more incentive for all of us to go there.
Since my kids enjoyed the set at our library so much, I softened my position on Thomas and looked into a modest, figure-8 set and an additional locomotive. When this 60th anniversary set was on sale for 25% off during the holidays, it was only $15 more than the figure-8 set(about $40) and an additional locomotive with small car (about $20)...which is not bad since it included Thomas, two box cars, Henry and his coal car, a station, a covered, elevated bridge, a stop and go station, and a more interesting track layout. My kids absolutely love this thing! And, I love playing with it as much as they do (with or without them)! They favor this toy over everything else they received this holiday. The best part is that my son and daughter enjoy it equally. My kids are still very young and I am excited that they can get more pieces for their set over the years instead of large, cheap, miscellaneous toys they will forget about and will clutter our house. So far, it is the only toy I can forsee saving for my grandchildren. I love everything about this toy.

This review is from: Thomas Wooden Railway 60th Anniversary Set (Toy)
I would highly recommend this Thomas and Friends train set if your little one is a fan. My 3 year old son absolutely loves playing with this train set! I thought it was a bit pricey however the set is very well made. It was worth it.

Learning Curve is a bad company!,

This review is from: Thomas Wooden Railway 60th Anniversary Set (Toy)
Think twice before you purchase anything from Learning Curve. They no longer have any Customer Service even there is still a toll-free number. Lifetime guarantee is gone. If you purchase some item which is later being discontinued, the guarantee will be discontinued, too!! 1-star rating is too good for this kind of irresponsible company!! I will choose 0-star if there is one!
