This is a quality made bible. nice leather, binding & bookmark. it has loads of references & tracking down additional information on a specific subject, it doesnt get easier than this. I also like this in the NKJV being the closest in accuracy to the KJV. great price too. highly recommended!

What a awsome piece of craftmanship. This Bible has the best leather I have ever seen on a Bible. The reference system is great and would be great for anyone. I think this was a great investment and can't wait to start reading it. God Bless you!!

I purchased this Bible to get a Thompson in NKJV. I already have a 30 year old Thompson in the Old KJV, and love it. My only complaint with this new purchase is apparently the real leather quality that is being used now is not near the quality that was used 30 years ago. It was apparent immediately upon opening the box. The content of the Bible helps and comments and threads are outstanding, especially for the serious Bible student.

If you do daily devotions...this is the tool for you. Each day I ask God to speak a word to me that will draw me closer to Him...I wait...then when He gives me the word, I use the Tommy Chain Bible Helps starting on page 1625 in this Bible to look it up. As I use the chain of reference to go through the scripture until God speaks to you.

I just received my Bible today and was pleasantly surprised. It's a well-made Bible, the font is acceptable (though smaller than what I'm used to), there's lots of space to take notes in the margins around all of the included notes, no thumb-index (I can't stand those) and I'm not even put-off by the thin paper - it seems to be normal Bible paper (though I've never bought a "well-made" Bible before now). The only reason I gave this 4 stars is there is a LOT of "stuff" in the back of this Bible. I've briefly looked through some of it, and while it could be interesting, I'm more of a "read the Bible for what the Bible says" kind of lady. All of this "stuff" takes up about a third of the thickness of the Bible. This surely is useful to those interested in it, but I would have preferred a slightly thicker paper to take up all of that room, rather than a third of my Bible being devoted to something I will rarely, if ever, look at/read. If that's the only downfall to this Bible, then I am well pleased. I've been searching and searching for something in the NKJV to suit my personal preference, and this by far is the closest I've come. All in all, I'm rather pleased with my purchase.
