The list author says: "This is a "complete" (Old Testament and New Testament) Bible translation entirely from a Greek source. It is unusual even today: normally, translations of the Greek Septuagint (Old Testament) are only found under separate cover, the exceptions being the Orthodox Study Bible and the Complete Apostle's Bible.
Another unusual thing about this is that the translator, Charles Thomson, was a U.S. politician intimately involved in the American Revolution and the Continental Congress. This is probably the first English translation of the Bible produced in the United States.
The original is in 4 volumes, which you can view online here:
Below are all 4 volumes. I have placed all the editions where the volume is identified first. Next, I have placed the editions which I **believe** that I have identified using the claimed excerpt. These can be identified by the (?) after the volume number. Finally are those which I could not identify, indicated by ?? instead of a volume number."
