As an adult reader of comic books, I found this to be pretty immature, but what can you expect with a storyline following the youth of the characters. This was a minor drawback for me because I am a huge fan of Thor. Granted it is a hundred times better than a story the WB would air, but the relationships of the characters in the story could fit right in. For younger audiences,I have no doubt this would get a higher rating. At age 23, it is a bit annoying and distracting from the action for me. The only other negative aspect was the size of the book (a little bigger than a Reader's Digest).
However, the immaturity of the characters serves only to make the story more real. This is the big obvious part now. Children act childish. In this light I can put up with the WB cheesiness. If you aren't a big Thor fan or Marvel fan, this may not be the comic for you.
Enough with the negativity. I did give it 4 stars after all. The book contains GORGEOUS artwork, BEAUTIFUL coloring, MIND-BLOWING action, and EASIER dialogue than most Thor comics. And for me the small size of the book made it no harder to read and enjoy. In fact it was probably a good idea, considering it would cost almost twice as much if it were full size.
I hope this helps someone out there this was my first review. I tried to be thorough and honest.
