5.0 out of 5 stars Thoreau Me a Bone
They say you can't judge a book by its cover... but that was long before there was the magical Kindle 2 which absolutely requires a cover for safety and style. fortunately, my review will cover why this is the best cover for you to discover (and i was the first to uncover this cover which i am a lover).

The Kindle 2 might not have come into this world...

3.0 out of 5 stars Spine
I love love love the fabric - very chic. The spine is too loose - it flops around and makes it clumsy. Love the inside pockets, wish there was a pen holder in there.
Just tighten up/strengthen the spine.

They say you can't judge a book by its cover... but that was long before there was the magical Kindle 2 which absolutely requires a cover for safety and style. fortunately, my review will cover why this is the best cover for you to discover (and i was the first to uncover this cover which i am a lover).

The Kindle 2 might not have come into this world naked... but pretty darn close. The prepackaged cover would've been great for a pad of paper and a pen. But job numero uno for a cover is safety. (safety never takes a holiday.) And the Amazon repair policy is basically non-existent. So for a $360 device, I require a durable cover that will protect my precious kindle if i accidentally gravity test it.

The Bobarra cover has 4 elastic bands securely latching my Kindle into the cover. Thoreau once said that "books are the carriers of civilization." But when civilization needs to carry their book, they don't want to be worried about dropping them. For someone a bit klutzy at times, I sincerely appreciate the safety of the Thoreau.

But I'm not one to compromise on style. I love the bamboo design with the leather stitching around the edges... professional enough that I can take my Kindle to work and leave on my desk, and cool too--i've gotten a few inquiries about where i purchased this cover while riding the bus home.

I also use the 3 pockets stitched into the front of the cover for business cards and a few dollars for my bus rides -- very thoughtful and convenient for me.

Overall, I love my Kindle 2 and very happy with my Thoreau cover.
