5.0 out of 5 stars My Favorite Training Socks
I am training for the Breast Cancer 3 Day (60 miles) and have worn these socks for my longest training walks, which are now averaging above 10 miles each. I LOVE these socks. I have other blister-resistant socks which do the job, but my feet tend to slide around in those. With these they are secure, which means my feet stay still within my shoes and don't slide to...

2.0 out of 5 stars don't work out in these
The extra padding on the toes caused a mysterious set of underskin blisters on both of my big toes. They are probably great for walking, but I was doing jazzercise.

I am training for the Breast Cancer 3 Day (60 miles) and have worn these socks for my longest training walks, which are now averaging above 10 miles each. I LOVE these socks. I have other blister-resistant socks which do the job, but my feet tend to slide around in those. With these they are secure, which means my feet stay still within my shoes and don't slide to squish my toes as I walk, and they are incredibly well-padded, so I feel comfy in them. They have a nice moisture-wicking quality as well, so my feet feel as good as possible after a ten mile walk. If you are going to be going the distance, these are the socks to take you there.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful socks!, March 10, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These are the most expensive socks I've ever purchased or worn, but they are worth every penny! They cushion my feet and when my tiny size 5 feet are exercising, they need every bit of cushioning they can get. If you wear your shoes tight, these socks probably won't fit, they are very thick. I love them and will be ordering more of them soon. A nice bonus that they generate some donations for breast cancer as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thorlo Pink Pad Breast Cancer Socks, February 27, 2008
I have loved Thorlo socks since I discovered them, they are fantastic and especially so for people like me who have neuropathy and have to be careful about foot injuries. Thorlos wick moisture away, so my feet are not excessively sweaty while I am exercising. They are thickly padded, which helps as my feet are in constant pain--the pads ease the ache. And the fact that a portion of my payment goes to help fight cancer.

5.0 out of 5 stars comfortable socks support charity, January 1, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have worn this same sock by Thorlo for years and is my favorite because of the padding over the arch where your shoelaces put pressure on your foot. I like the extra padded heel and toe. Now in the hot pink color, they are even better! And Thorlo will donate one dollar per pair to the charity of your choice.Thorlo Women's Pink Pad Breast Cancer Sock

5.0 out of 5 stars Expensive but well worth it!, April 14, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I covet Thorlo sox. They are a fortune for sox (usually $15+) but they last forever! I bought 2 pairs of these and LOVE them. My other Thorlo's are indestructible, and I expect these to be, too. Plus, I love pink...and the price is right for Thorlo's -- they are a little cheaper than the non-breast cancer ones. Plus I can feel good about myself, contributing to the cure and all of that. I highly recommend these for comfort, style and value...and social responsibility!

3.0 out of 5 stars Thorlos Breast Cancer Awareness Sock, January 11, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Disappointed with my purchase. Expecting much better quality and cushion. This sock is nothing special and way overpriced. I will not purchase anymore Thorlos products online. It's better to check it out in a store before buying.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Cushioning, July 10, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I was looking for socks that gave some cushion without being bulky for my daily runs. These fit the bill perfectly. Plus I am always drawn to pink. They wash up nicely on the gentle cycle and a few minutes on low in the dryer and I am ready to go.

This is the first but not the last pair of Thorlo socks I own. Cannot explain the comfort.
