Thorlo Women's Moderate Cushion Light Hiking Mini Crew Sock with Coolmax These socks are great with my mid-height hiking boots. High enough to keep boots from rubbing on bare skin, and yet not so high as to make them too warm to wear in the TN summer. The toe seam is nearly invisible, and not felt at all. They wash & dry well. Hint: they recommend doing them inside out to keep them soft & fluffy. I would definitely buy these again.

These are great socks. I wear them all year round, without shoes around the house, on long walks, and while exercising. I particularly like the light hiking crew socks. I occasionally buy more, even though the first ones I bought, year ago, are still in excellent condition after having been washed and dried many times. They are cushioned enough to protect my feet when I'm on them for a long time and they protect them from extreme temperatures as well.

I was discussing survival techniques with an Army officer who recommended Thorlo socks for warmth. I bought some for that purpose, for power outages, cold Winter weather, etc., and never have wanted any other kind since. They last for years and I wear them every day, Winter and Summer, usually without shoes since I work from home, sometimes with shoes on 3-mile walks. These are everything I want in a sock. I highly recommend them.

As far as size goes, they are more flexible than most, so you probably won't go wrong. Try a pair. I've never wanted any other socks after trying these.

Love these socks! They are cushion-y without being bulky, and are warm without being too hot to hike in. I like the mini-crew length and wear them with running shoes and low hiking boots.

Great socks! I wear them for hiking, to work and around the house with slippers. They wash great, do not stretch and they fit great around the heel. I bought 4 pairs and always have 3 pairs in the hamper!

these are very comfortable socks, seem to wash well, and they're made in the USA. I plan on giving some Thorlos as Christmas presents this year. Wish they were less expensive of course

This is my second pair of these socks. They are super comfortable with a good deal of cushion. Originally I purchased for hiking (which they are great for), but I find myself wearing them everyday because they are so comfortable!

I've tried other brands of hiking socks, but they seem to wear-out so quickly. These Thorlo's have lasted well beyond hiking in the Canadian Rockies and many, many washings. Well worth the price to have comfortable, long lasting hiking socks!
