These fill up the spaces perfectly and make me feel like I'm walking on pillows of air or gel.
They last a long time, the first place to wear out is the heel, and I usually see it before I feel it.
The sock is comfortable, fits well, absorbs moisture, and feels great.

These socks are not thick enough or tall enough for skiing or use with hip waders but are the best for everything else. I wish they would make a bigger thicker woman's sock. They are by far the most durable socks I have ever owned. I am a bit of a sock freak who lives and works on my feet and have tried almost all kinds of socks. Merino wool might be more comfortable at first but they do not last long at all. You might get a good backpack trip out of a Merino sock but then they start getting thin spots immediately. My Thorlos last and last for years before getting thin spots. To my amazement even when they wear completely through they still hold together well. I have smaller feet am so HAPPY they brought the woman's size 10 back on the market. Great sock.

These socks really keep the heat in your feet without feeling static cling. They feel as if they give you a lift in your step. Like walking on good thick carpet. Purchased these several times, never let down by quality.

Thorlo makes wonderful socks, and these are exceptionally comfortable. They fit snugly, and keep my feet nice and warm. This is a heavy sock so they work well with boots or athletic shoes, but do not work well with dress shoes. Amazon's prices are competitive, which is good because these are not cheap socks, although I think they are worth the price because they last a long time and stay fluffy after many washings.

I was a little apprehensive about which size to get, but on the package, it said the medium should be for 7-9 shoe size. I actually wear 9.5, but very glad I opted for this size - they aren't too tight or short - larger size would be too big. And VERY cushy and warm. Ankles are also just the right amount of elastic - I have kind of large ankles, but these are neither too tight nor too loose.

I chose 5 stars because I love THICK soft socks, these are very thick, so if you need a thinner sock to fit in your shoe, don't buy these.

I wear these for work in my boots, and for running in my running shoes, for walking the dogs in my sneakers, and trail hiking in my trail shoes. They are very soft, and have no seam discomfort.

I wear these in the winter and the summer.

They last a long time, the first place to wear out is the heel, and I usually see it before I feel it.

I have very large calves and most socks are too tight around the top, these socks are very soft and expandable around the top, but I have no problems with them staying up.

I recommend these to anyone that are on their feet all day, but have enough room in their shoes to accommodate a very thick sock.

A little pricey at $13 a pair, but definitely worth every cent!!

I selected the size 10 (shoe size 7-9) sock and it is way to short (I am a size 7.5 to 8). I thought it might stretch after wear but it did not and it leaves my toes uncomfortable cramped inside my hiking boot. It seems like a good quality sock, I just wish the sizing was more accurate.

I bought 3 pairs of the Thorlo socks last Christmas for my daughter, who lives in New York City. She says that these socks are the only ones she's ever found that keep her feet warm through winter and give her superior comfort from the thick padding. When she told me that she has to wash them twice a week because she wears them EVERY day in cold weather, I ordered 4 more pairs so she can get through one week's wear. Through her description, I can highly recommend them to anyone who is on their feet for many hours a day, and needs a good thermal sock for warmth.

I bought these because I thought they were very thick. The are thicker than most brands, but not as thick as I expected (or for what I was buying them for). Either way, they are super comfortable, and I would definitely buy them again. For reference, I am generally a size 8, and I bought the size 10, which fits snug.
