Candice and I [Becky] first met over the telephone when I called her to discuss the possibility of working together on a fitness video. Over the next year and a half, as we worked on Step Into Fitness, we discovered that we had a lot in common as wives and moms who work outside the home as writers and motivators. She has been a guest contributor on CBS's "The Early Show," the host of the "Change Your Life Daily Radio Minute," a guest on Dr. Laura's Radio Program, and an occasional guest on "Focus on the Family" with Dr. James Dobson, as well as a speaker for Women of Faith, Women of Joy, and Youth Specialties.

I read this book years ago when it first came out, took its information very seriously, and completely revamped my life according to their step-by-step direction. Then I bought five copies to give away as gifts because I believed in their method so profoundly. This is the "original" of all those that followed in its wake, such as Oprah's Make the Connection and Fit for Life. This is NOT about dieting, deprivation or wretched workout regimes -- its about renewing your life in order to enjoy it! Its appropriate for ALL ages, and ALL ranges of current fitness. The 90 day program is so concise and thorough that its like having a personal counselor, trainer and mentor by your side taking one diligent step per day, focusing on all the areas of your being which create what you know as your life. With their incredible(!!) guidance, you will finally be able to articulate short-term goals AND long-term goals for having the life you desire. But more importantly, they'll help you reach those goals easier than what you dreamed possible. No one can do it overnight and I don't believe anyone can do it alone. The process they outlined made me fall in love with fitness; with knowing what my body needs in order to live the life I desire at its best; with learning how to get it. Because the Thoroughly Fit plan has proven its resiliency to me over the years, I plan to incorporate MUCH of the its philosophy and processes when I open a fitness facility of my own one day. Becky Tirabassi also incorporates positive spiritual growth from a Christian perspective which was just a delight and made it all the more special. I sincerely recommend this book for anyone who wants to live life thoroughly!! Its a small investment for HUGE rewards.
