This is a compilation of oral histories of the rescue of 152 of 317 suvivors from the USS Indianapolis. LCDR Wren was a rescue boat officer pulling the men out of the sea. Numerous television and public speaking engagements relate to Naval History and this episode in particular. Previously published "Richmond, Home of the Confederate Navy". Has appeared on A&E and the History Channel programs related to the sinking of the Indianapolis.
