If you think these guys are unoriginal (see review below) you must have just been getting into hardcore last year. These guys were out in the late 1980's making this unbelievable music and it influenced every single hardcore band after them.

Let me start by saying that everything about this record rules.

The Hieronymus Bosch painting on cover is a fairly accurate picture of what you will get inside. The music is raw and hard with a lot of Dark Ages/Biblical lyrical references to sin and evil. The music puts you right into that Bosch painting with its agony and suffering.

Musically, this is the best Integrity record. Those Who Fear Tomorrow in its time (1991) was fairly unique in how hard it was. This record remains timeless and feels like it could have been made in 2004.

Most modern hardcore and metal or whatever people call it today is wimpy and puny by comparison. At the same time the music is not so hard as to be incoherent or cacophenous.

If you are a floorpuncher, there is almost no better album out there for floorpunching.

This was recorded in 1991?? No sh*t!

I've been listening to Those Who Fear Tomorrow for a good few years now and I still can't get over the fact that this incredible hardcore recording is nearing 15 years of age. This is what many would call "timeless". No matter how many years down the road, this will continue to sound good; truly essential hardcore right here. If you dig the early Cro-Mags sound, this is right up your alley. So, if you're looking to hear one of hardcore's most influential bands, buy this album, memorize it, and hope for Integrity to play a reunion show near you.

integrity is one the most influential hardcore band that has never released a alblum. I myself think that Dwid's vocals are one of the best in the scene. his intencity for the music shows at his preformances, and in the cd's themselves show you.

integrity's best album in their best line-up (melnick brothers, chubby fresh).
dwid has some sick vocals (a.o. on 'tempest'). too bad he doesn't use that voice anymore on recent recordings.

"Those Who Fear Tomorrow" is possibly the greatest pure hardcore album ever released. Why? Simply put, the recording evokes a plethora of emotions, spins through dizzying speeds, slows to Sabbathy crunches, and pounds better than Excedrin headache #5. What more could one possibly ask for? But wait, there's more! The vocals are unconscionably rough, the lyrics searing though delightful, the guitar riffs hard but smooth, pumping basslines, and a drum track that stomps. I highly recommend this disc to anyone who needs a little more rawness in their life. -David Newman 1998

If you are a fan of the hardcore scene and want nothing more then an album you can jump around to, then this cd isn't so bad. However, if you are looking for anything else, stay clear. Integrity lacks any sort of originality and stumbles through songs totally uninspired with no creativity. Though the insturments and vocals are all smoothly put together, the songs, which all began sounding the same, don't go anywhere. This album isn't horrible, there's just nothing exciting about it. Everything that Integrity has done with this album has been done 1000 times before.
