5.0 out of 5 stars This completely surprised me!, September 7, 2008

This is one of those albums you borrow (or whatever) from a friend, relative, co-worker, because they probably nagged you to death saying it totally kills! Well I'll let you know that it does. This is one of those CD's that has you thinking, "Where the heck did these guys come from, and why don't I already own this!" The music is completely technical, fast paced, and changes often. It never get's boring, and it completely rocks you. You might argue the track "Price we pay" gets old, but it's written that way. The singer has one of the most impressive vocal ranges i've heard, and even more impressive is that one singer does all this. The drums are interesting and completely pound. The guitars and bass are meticuously done, well written, and all seems to have it's place. Nothing sounds forced, or badly arranged. This is a very flowing, very interesting sound. All the tracks sound different than the other, offering refreshing changes throughout the CD. The CD starts out with a little bit of hardcore flavor, then becomes a fast, metalcore sound, I feel. This sounds nothing like the bands amazon compares this with, nothing like panic at the disco, so if you like that radio pop, you won't like this, because this stuff is brutal. Some of my favorite tracks are "monument," the remake of "since you been gone," and my personal favorite is "start the shooting." The slow song "Price we pay" is the 6th track, a kinda intermission if you will, to get a rest, get a drink, and continue to thrash on throughout the CD. I feel bad i've just heard this, this is something you want, even if you don't know it yet.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must buy for ADTR fans, June 22, 2010
This review is from: For Those Who Have Heart [Re-Issue] (MP3 Download)
I first heard of these guys from the Downfall of us all single. I went to FYE and bought this cd/dvd on sale and have loved it since. The breakdowns are brutal but the punkness of the chorus makes it a smash combo. I recommend this cd to anyone. It rocks. Here are some of my favorites:
Fast Forward to 2012: A great fast punk song that really kicks off the album
Danger in Starting a Fire: Great heavy song for the real headbangers. Love the shouting of "I will never falter, I'll stand my ground."
Plot to Bomb the panhandle: Great song to listen to if you like more of the punkish side.
Shot in the dark: I love the guitar on this track.
Monument: Great song, I love this song so much because it mixes the heavyness with the punk side so well.
Heartless: So heavy, it's not even funny. It is so fast and headbanging.
You should've killed me when you had the chance: I love the balled style of this song and feel it is one of the best on the album.
Since u Been gone: love how they redid this. It sounds a little funny to hear jeremy scream "How come i never hear you say, I just want to play with you." But still an excellent. This is overall an excellent album. I suggest buying the cd with it because the concert portion is incredible. They have so much
