Before "metalcore" gained a bigger audience, you've had your share of bands that instigated the genre before. All Out War is one of these bands. In tracks like "Claim Your Innocence", you can hear some thrash influence a la Slayer. Along with that, the riffage just pulverizes. Also, don't let the fact that it's on Victory records fool you. The label still has a lot of awesome bands IMO, amongst the others making the label commercial, but this was before Victory went commercial. If you're a fan of bands like Killswitch Engage (mostly old), Hatebreed, Cannae, Cataract, and whatever, then you need this CD! Also check out Nerve Gas Tragedy, the band featuring members of this band.

Every song on here has the most consistant heavy rhythms that I've ever heard in hardcore. If you aren't familiar with chug, get ready. They play their guitars like a percussion instrument, each song is built on a foundation of open E power chords. As for melody, there is none; but honestly they don't need it. All out War is also not preoccupied with trying to sound "insane" i.e. Dillinger Escape Plan, and Converge. What you get is the most solid and consistantly brutal album. The drumming is perfect, nice double bass beats, along with a volley of crash cymbals, accompanied with great screams that don't get annoying. Nearly perfect CD!

This is the best CD that I have ever heard. The whole album is pure energy, and there are no slow parts. Mike Score's vocals and lyrics are incredible and fit the heaviness of the music perfectly. I have never heard a band that plays music this brutal. This smashes anything else out there right now. Please buy this CD!!!

Don't wait for this CD to be melodic hardcore or stuff like that. "For those..." IS the best CD released this year. AOW IS the best HxC band in the world. Keep your eyes closed and buy this CD, you won't be disappointed. It's a catharsis for your soul and your torturated mind.

these guy mastered a new breed of crossover thrash/hardcore.these guys sound like slayer,ringworm,and cro mags.with a touch of deathmetal but very heavy and fast but not the average band.they have bridged the gap many have tried this is worth every cent check them out they make many new bands sound like garage bands or talentless monkeys

One of the most flat out PISSED OFF album's EVER!!! EVER!!!

It must be said by a THRASH expert like myself that this is very much 98% thrash which is why it rule's so much!!

Not everey song is great..but it all blend's together to make one of the most ANGRY album's of all time's!!

Stick around for the end of the cd which has cover song's and a DEATH METAL song!!

Saying "nothing even comes close" is an insult. All Out War has re-invented the genre. GET ALL THREE ALBUMS NOW! And prepare to be awoken...

OMG what can I say about this band. If you like really brutaly heavy music. This it. This CD has great musicainship on it. Most of of the song are very melotic. Theres allot of tempo changes. this is a must have for hardcore , death metal , & grindcore fans.

THis is the most brutal sounding hard/death core album ive ever heard. Everything about this cd is awesome including the cover artwork. This is the heaviest hardcore ive ever heard. I recommend you buy not one, but two copies of it (one for your offspring when you get older).

AOW is great music buy this cd if you like Hatebreed, Dead Eyes Under, keep it undergound for the childrens' sake... :(
