5.0 out of 5 stars Maurois is a hero for revealing secret technology, October 23, 2007
Maurois is a hero for revealing secret technology. This book is evidence that people will seeing, hearing and possibly even sending images and sounds to and from brains...basically seeing the images that eyes and brain produce...as early as 1937. I mean that is a long time ago. The profile Maurois paints of a university professor is amazing, in the parallels to Michael Pupin at Columbia University. The idea that people could figure out how to see and hear thought is so unbelievable that the average person automatically rules it out in an instant. But yet, how unlikely is it, and seeing what eyes see is a legitimate line of research as Yang Dan of UC Berkeley has proven. Search for Pupin and take a look at one of the best kept secrets of science and who made it possible.
