Book Description

September 28, 2006
The idea that form follows thought and feeling is not a new one to mystics, but quantum physicists have now shown that this to be a scientifically proven reality. A massive shift in peoples understanding is occurring to take the implications of this on board and integrate it into our lives. Trained chemist David Hamilton's interest in this topic was inspired by the field research tests he conducted for chemical companies. Realising that placebo tests produced comparable results with the sample that received the actual drug, David set about understanding why. His research has resulted in this accessible and extraordinary book, in which he has assembled all the research to create a convincing and inspiring case for the power of compassion and kindness to really make a difference in the world.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book--lots of food for thought, November 25, 2009
I really enjoyed this book. I saw Dr. Hamilton recently at a Louise Hay conference and found his talk to be fantastic, which led me to this book. Fascinating scientific studies; his personal experience with the power of the placebo, thus, the power of our beliefs on our health. He talks about beliefs such as thinking something "runs in the family" and how that belief can be what causes the expected condition--and the very small role genetics actually play. In many ways we fulfill our own expectations. I really appreciated his recommendations to help and heal ourselves--paying attention to how we treat ourselves and others too (including how we treat nature). We can influence others and the world singly (as in uplifting a room full of people) and collectively we could really make changes! I thought this book was great and plan to re-read sections occasionally as a refresher. Dr. Hamilton has given me some ideas for very simple but beneficial changes I've begun to incorporate. The back cover of the book is a good description too.

You can see parts of his lectures on youtube and his website [...]

A very no-nonsense, straight-forward approach to the role of thoughts in the creation of our everyday lives. Nothing groundbreaking, but this will serve as a useful guide.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great messages, August 6, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I loved David Hamilton's book because, although I have enthusiastically embraced his message for years I have several doubting friends who struggle to understand --but who do want to --or want to understand why I am so positive and alive --I have purchased several to give to them and all came back to say that they were going to live with a greater awareness of their thoughts. This book had a very special impact on them. Thanks to David for a great book!! Pat S. in Montana
