5.0 out of 5 stars KoRn and thoughtless.., October 30, 2002

another great single from a great album from the untouchables, Thougtless is one of the best songs on the new KoRn album, the remixes are just fantastic and the dvd extra is a must, go get thoughtless (single) and the album Untouchables by koRn, and the other albums.
Thoughtless is a great song i give it 9/10, has a dark slow intro which jumps into heavy riffs. The lyrics are very good, looking through the eyes of the killers of the St columbine school shooting, and this is the only song in Untouchables with Jon davis' famous vocal scat. fantastic...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great mixes, September 17, 2005
This review is from: Thoughtless Pt.1 (Audio CD)
Untouchables is Korn's most professional sounding album to date. They really took their time with that album and it shows. Well written songs, great lyrics, etc...

Here To Stay and Thoughtless were the first two singles to kick-start Untouchables. Here To Stay being a little heavier than Thoughtless. The remixes (Tone Toven & Sleep Remix / Mindless Self Indulgence Remix) of the track are put together very nicely. The first having a more rap influenced beat, while the second being more industrial. The other 2 mixes for Thoughtless (D. Cooley Remix ft. DJ Z-Trip / Dante Ross Remix) are put together just as good. I never really got into the Dante Ross version, but the D. Cooley version really gets you going!

This is a good single to pick up, personally I think better than the Here To Stay singles. Better remixes that's all.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Catch For Any Korn Fan, December 30, 2004
This review is from: Thoughtless 1 (Audio CD)
As a hopelessly devoted Korn fan, I have not only collected all of their albums, soundtracks, DVD's and so on, but within my collection, I hold just about every Korn remix, live song, or b-side, thanks to both file-sharing and, of course, these nifty little overpriced imports. So I can say from experience that the "Thoughtless" import/CD-single is a worthy buy. Not only do you get the brilliant studio track "Thoughtless" (from Korn's 2002 album, "Untouchables") and it's elaborate and somewhat gratifying music-video as a CD-rom feature, but there are two remixes of the song to back it up, as well as two remixes of "Here To Stay" (also from the same album) that you can't get elsewhere. And oddly enough, this is the first collection of Korn remixes where each mix is pulled off tastefully and makes for many interesting repeat listenings. The two highlights for me, however, are the D. Cooley & DJZ-Trip remix of "Thoughtless" and the Mindless Self Indulgence remix of "Here To Stay." The former takes the song into new territory and is very entertaining to listen to, as the song is given a musical landscape that is the polar opposite of the original. The latter is my favorite, hands down. Former tourmates, Mindless Self Indulgence (from the 2000 Sick & Twisted Tour with Staind), completely nail this version, and absorb it into their musical vocabulary, just don't expect any of the group's signature tasteless sense of humor to leak out, though. Overall, it's a great buy for any serious Korn fan. Their remixes are rarely ever this good, and the music video featured just helps round out a release that is actually worth it's price tag.
