Revolutionary,

This review is from: Thoughts and Aphorisms (Paperback)
Just as the man was, so was his way of looking at the world, nature, humanity and civilization - revolutionary, in a word. Known as the prophet of Supermind, a level of consciousness higher than the mental one so far manifested in the terrestrial evolution in humans, in this short book he shatters our mental prejudiced notions, conventions and habits that are and will remain the hindrance for the Supramental Transformation, which he says man is ultimately destined to undergo. Highly recommended, if you can withstand the perpetual shocks and jolts to conventional ideas about morality, goodness and even idealism. This book will, in time, stand alongside Socrates', The Buddha's and Christ's messages as milestones in humanity's progress towards divinity. Better yet if you can get a copy with The Mother's commentary on the book in Q & A format, as and when they occurred to young children in Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry, India. Finally, a correction - Sri Aurobindo was not the editor but the author of this work. |
