This review is from: My Thoughts Are Murder To The State: Thoreau's Essays On Political Philosophy (Paperback)
This book was recommended by Amazon when I purchased another item and I bought it out of curiosity. I'm grateful for that circumstance. I learned a great deal about US history that I'd never been aware of before. The John Brown story and Thoreau's defense of John Brown's ideas is the most glaring example that comes to mind.
