Poems expressing the virtual thorns of love,
By Charles Ashbacher (Marion, Iowa United States) - See all my reviews (TOP 500 REVIEWER) (VINE VOICE) (HALL OF FAME REVIEWER)
This review is from: Thoughts Pressed Between Pages (Paperback)
Reading soft poetry is one of the most relaxing things that you can do. It doesn't have to be all about the tenderness of love, the best love poems interject a bit of the reality of life. Arzate does that in this collection of poems, he mentions both the joys and difficulties of loving someone. What it is like to love and lose that love, the virtual thorns that one must navigate through in order to sustain it and how it can blind you to inconvenient realities.
These poems are good and this is the first collection of poems that Arzate has published. He shows great promise, there is no doubt that future volumes will appear and will be even better than this one.
