I saw Dr. Sabeti on NOVA Science Now a few months ago. I liked her voice and music style so I decided to grab a few of her songs. I think three that are nice variety are:Absence Coming Up The Weight

A Thousand Days Should Be Heard,

My favorite song of Thousand Days is "Headlight Waves". Other favs are "Days Go By" and "Zia". I guess I like their harder driving songs, but the others are good too. I first learned of singer and molecular biologist Pardis Sabeti on a NPR radio interview. Her band was mentioned during the interview. Her DNA research is interesting to me as well. Google "Pardis Sabeti". Being trained in biology myself I found her music - science double life interesting. Anyway, I do wish Thousand Days would record more and make their material more commercialy available and played on the radio.Favs Headlight Waves Days Go By Zia |
