If Your looking for trouble!, July 31, 2004
This review is from: Thrall: Demonsweatlive [EP] (Audio CD)
Thrall-Demonsweatlive is Danzig's classic 1993 studio and live album.
Thrall
On the Thrall part of the album there are 2 of Danzig's heaviest and most powerful songs they have ever released, Its Coming Down and the violet fire. as well as these 2 classic songs on the Thralll section you also get an amazing cover of the classic Elvis song, Trouble(and who better to sing it than the evil Elvis himself?)
DemonSweatLive
the Demonsweatlive section doesnt contain as many live tracks as i would have expected for my money but the live tracks here are top quality in both the sound production and of the classic songs chosen. They play one of my favourite danzig tracks, Snakes of Christ (Lucifuge 1990), the 88' classic 'Am I Demon' from their self titled debut album, the haunting 'Sistinas' off their 1992 album 'How the Gods Kill' and the all time fans favourite 'Mother', which is the best live track ever! Also if you let the cd play on after the end of Mother live (track 7) for about 10 minutes there is the original studio version of mother which is a nice extra. Thrall-Demonsweatlive is a great album for any danzig fan that wants live and new studio tracks.

One of the best albums I own!, January 21, 2002
This review is from: Thrall: Demonsweatlive [EP] (Audio CD)
Glenn Danzig kicks ... in Demonsweatlive! Featuring 2 versions of "Mother" Live and Studio, both sound great! In fact, all of the songs sound great! Dont take it from me, though. Buy this album for your collection and find out for yourself!

Buy This For The Amazing Live Tracks, February 13, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Thrall: Demonsweatlive [EP] (Audio CD)
This album is split into 2 sections: 3 studio songs and 4 live tracks. With the exception of "It's Coming Down," the studio tracks don't do much for me. But wait, there are still the live tracks. "Sistinas" shows Glenn's amazing voice better than any other song on any other album that I can think of(plus chicks get all mushy listening to it). "Am I Demon?" is furious, and the guitar riffs by John are devastatin. Also, you will actually be able to hear Eerie Von's bass clearly on the live tracks.
