From the first time I heard going, goin' gone I just new Neil and Kelley were a song writing force to be reckoned with...and after seeing them a very small local concert in Grand Rapids, Michigan ....I was forever hooked. I wore out and LOST countless numbers of this CD, ...Hmmmm... somehow all of my friends seem to have copies of this work....and rightfully so ... their Harmonies Rival Riccochet and Diamond Rio .... these guys will knock your sox off.....don't hesitate, GET this CD ....and guys ....we are starving for more out here ....please bless us with a new album....

Starving in B93 Country...

I was given a copy of this cd and its one of the Best CD's I have ever heard! Where are they now?

I bought this CD after hearing "Be Honest" on the radio. I love every song on it - the incredible harmonies and wonderful instrumental backgrounds. "You and I Belong" is so beautifully written, it quickly became a meaningful song for my boyfriend and me.

I just happened upon this cd and bought it immediately. I like harmony and accustical guitars, and these guys are great. i really enjoyed "be honest" and "she's the only one". When are they going to have another cd available?

I'm not a C&W fan but when a friend offered to take me to a Patty Loveless concert, I figured what the heck. These guys were her opening act and I loved it. Just two guys, two guitars, talent, and energy. Not only were their harmonies excellently rendered but they were obviously having a genuinely good time, not just putting on smiles for the audience. When they did a raucous version of "Between the Stones and Jones," I was sold. I still am. My only critricism - and it's a very small one - is that I wished the CD had a track or two that was like the concert I saw: No backing, no orchestra, just them, their guitars, and their wonderful harmonies.

My husband and I first heard Thrasher Shiver in 1996 on our honeymoon in Tenn. I have a friend that worked for the label and got us tickets for a very small audience at Green's grocery. I am a music teacher and didn't quite know what to expect. They were outstanding! There voices blended so well and the harmonies were so tight. I listened intently for the entire concert and wanted to hear more. When we got back to Missouri we searched and searched untill we found the CD. It is now one of our utmost favorites. Thank you Thrasher Shiver for such a memorble evening. The recording has added instruments that they did not perform with that evening. They really don't need them but they make a nice touch. My personal favorite is You and I Belong.

I saw these guys live last year as the opening act for Colin Raye and havent stoped thinking about them. My wife and I were accompanied by my brother and his young lady and we all stoped talking when they started singing. The vocals that came off that stage froze the whole crowd. Dont miss out on this little treasure.

These guys sound absolutely incredible together. They have the best sounding harmony of any group of have heard in ANY genre. Get this CD. There isn't a single song on it I do not like. "Goin', Goin' Gone", and "Tragedy" and truly exception.

Kelly (Shiver)has been a great friend of mine. I can feel honored now to have Kelly to back me up at the annual Country Christmas' in our hometown. Look for more of Kelly's work coming soon as he is back to writing.
