I ordered these sheets because of the high thread count. My husband always complains that I spend too much on sheets until he gets into bed. Our last pair were hotel type and very nice. It was always the best feeling to get in after they'd just been washed and put on the bed. This pair was dissapointing because I thought that for the price and the high thread count that the same would be true... It wasn't. The first time I washed them (on cold and gentle cycle) there was a hole already starting in one of the pillows seems. Which was the least of my issues with them. They just didn't have that cool (temperature) feeling that our old ones had. My husband says he likes these ones. He says they are "soft" but I think he is only saying that so I don't go spend a bunch of money on another pair... Because once you take sheets out and put them on your bed and use them and even wash them once, it's not like you can send them back...
