The Simmons Olympic Queen bed was developed in 1999 and is 6 inches wider than a regular Queen. Besides the California king and Queen, this was the first new bed to enter the market in 42 years. Because of this, they are not as common as normal Queen Beds and it is often difficult to find bedding for them. Mattresses of Olympic Queen beds typically measure 66 inches wide and 80 inches long. We are constantly searching for new styles of Olympic Queen sheets and so far we've had great success. They are now available in several threads counts, colors, and fabrics to choose from. Each complete set includes flat sheet 90x102 inches, fitted sheet 66x80 inches, and 2 standard pillowcases 20x30 inches .These sheet sets have a wonderful feel and a simple look that will enhance any bed. They are 100%Egyptian cotton sateen, 300 thread count.

The directions on the front of the package said to wash the sheets in cold water prior to use. I tried the fitted sheet on the bed first, and it fit just fine; then I washed all of the sheets in cold water. Afterwards, the fitted sheet barely fit the mattress, it had shrunk so badly.

When I contacted the seller, I was told that since I had washed the sheets I was not eligible for the refund I had requested. When I then told the seller that I was going to go through Amazon, my credit card showed the refund very, very quickly.

I cannot recommend these sheets or this seller.

The Olympic Size Queen sheets fit the bed, but they come off the mattress. Unlike Dreamfit sheets, which have a strong elastic band on the bottom, these sheets do not. I have to keep pulling the sheets back over the mattress, only to have them come off again a few nights later. Dreamfit sheets are no long available or I would have purchase those again.

I ordered a set of these sheets several months ago and am very happy. They are soft and comfortable. Olympic Queen sheets are hard to find and I was happy to find them here and good quality. I'm ordering another set.
