3.0 out of 5 stars Good Book
I like the Animrophs books in some parts but not in others. I personally think that it would be cool to morph into different animals. Though I don't think that a group of 6 kids could possibly defeat an empire of "evil aliens" Also, another thing is that in some of the books the Animorphs seem just to cheat death. I don't think it would be bad to cheat...

2.0 out of 5 stars Huh, September 18, 2008
This review is from: The Threat (Animorphs, No. 21) (Paperback)
Eh, I know Ms. Applegate was probably desperate for some new material for the series, but I could not quite understand the point of David. Clearly a way to lure people into reading without putting out a plot.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wow., September 17, 1999

This review is from: The Threat (Animorphs, No. 21) (Paperback)
When I first heard of the Animorphs books, my first thought was that it would be another one of those dumb babysitters club-type series. But I guess I was totally wrong! I first started reading them when my brother bought one at the book fair. I had nothing else to read so I'm like, "why not?" Soon after that I got number 2. THEN I was hooked. They are the most addictive book series around! Of course some of the animorphs are better than others. Some of my favorites are: #19, #34, #33 #11 #3. Also the Megamorphs and the Andalite chronicles and the Hork-bajir chronicles are pretty good. My favorite characters are Tobias and Cassie. If you ask me, Rachel is way to violent. This particular book here is ok, but i'ts not one of my favorites.

5.0 out of 5 stars I couldn't put it down ., December 13, 1998

When I first heard of "Animorphs", I thought of two words: too hard. Then I tried reading this book and I couldn't put it down. I am seven years old. I thought the book cover was cool, but I thought it would be too hard to read. I would recommend young kids like me can read it if they have read other chapter books. I like this particular book better than the other Animorphs books because it is a long book and it gets you more excited to read it. There are more things happening.

This book is way awesome! David is a real jerk in it though. If you have never read this book, go read it today!! You don't know anything about the Animorphs if you have never read this book!! (Just Kidding!)

5.0 out of 5 stars The most exciting book of a the trilogy, October 25, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Threat (Animorphs, No. 21) (Paperback)
This is the core of the trilogy. This is were all the excitement is. If it wasn't for this book the trilogy was meaningless. It will have importance to books to come. If you want to skip a book in the sreies it better not be this one.

I don't think it would be bad to cheat death, but almost every book? Something else I would like to say is: Why does KA always tell the "beginning" story about the Animorphs? How the Animorphs became Animorphs and how Ax came to Earth.

5.0 out of 5 stars The biggest cliff-hanger ever!(of animorphs,that is), October 7, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Threat (Animorphs, No. 21) (Paperback)
When I first heard of animorph, one word came to mind. "CORNY!". But I was at my friends house with nothing better to do, so I picked it up and started reading it. WOW! I was hooked! The new recruit (is that how you spell it?) is David, and he has his own hidden agenda... He viciously starts killing different animorphs. He kills two at the end of the book! After I was finished, I had to beg my mom to take to the bookstore to get #22- The Solution. This ones a winner folks, don't pass it up!
