Great Read Aloud!,

I was just reminded of this great retelling of Three Billy Goats Gruff. The suspense and pacing are brilliant. The illustrations are gorgeous AND funny. It was one of my all-time favorite read-alouds when I was a children's librarian. A MUST HAVE!

The illustrations in this book put you right in the middle of the action, with full-page illustrations that seem "zoomed in" on the action. Very compelling. Funny troll, good looking goats. I like to do the voices when I read this one.
