Terrific!,

I learned the hard way that it is much harder to pick a good audio book than a printed book. A bad narrator can spoil a wonderful book. But not in this case - this great book is read by a wonderful narrator. This one and The Razor Edge read by Michael Page are my favorite audio books so far. I grew up reading this book in Russian and I truly enjoy listening to it once in a while in English.

Three Men in a Boat,

The disappointing thing about this recording is the music, which is very strange and not at all in the spirit of the story. It's intrusive and cut into odd little chunks. My previous recording had happy, Edwardian music that was just great. The reading is fine.

I love the delightful music at the end and the beginning of each chapter. Does anyone know the composer? the title?
